Delete Your Account & Data

Summary

You can permanently delete your Asios account — your phone identity and your data across every Asios app — from any Asios Android app, or by request. You can also delete just one product's data and keep the rest. Completed deletion cannot be undone.

Delete from an Asios app (fastest)

1. Open Asios Chat + AI, Asios Rooms, or Asios Standup.
2. Go to the account controls on the app's main screen.
3. Choose Delete my Asios account to remove your identity and your data in every Asios app, or Delete [product] data only to remove just that product and keep your Asios identity and other apps.
4. Review what each product lists, and choose what happens to any room or group you host — transfer it to another member, leave it, or delete it for everyone.
5. Confirm. Each product returns a deletion receipt, and your shared identity credentials are revoked only after every product reports completion.

Delete by request

If you can't access the app, email asios_app@proton.me with the subject line “Delete my account” and identify the verified phone number on the account. We will provide a secure ownership-verification step; never email us an SMS code. We complete verified requests within 30 days (usually within a few business days).

What gets deleted

Deleting your Asios account permanently removes, across every Asios surface tied to your identity:

• Chat: your account, your end-to-end-encrypted messages (sent and received), your friend connections, group memberships, and your encryption keys on your device.
• Rooms: rooms you host (and their messages and participants) and your host account.
• Standup: groups you host (and their check-ins, prompts, and summaries) and your account.
• Asios (AI assistant / Asios Line): your phone identity, your conversation history, your voice/AI context profile, and your push-notification tokens.
• Any active paid subscription is cancelled as part of deletion.

If you instead choose to delete a single product's data, only that product is affected. Your Asios identity, your other Asios apps, and their data remain active.

What we retain, and for how long

After deletion we keep only a minimal, anonymized set of records that are no longer linked to you:

• Aggregated, de-identified usage/cost logs (no message content, no name, no phone number) used for capacity and cost planning.
• Security and billing records we are legally required to keep (e.g. payment/tax records held by our payment processor), for as long as the law requires.

Messages you sent to friends are removed from our servers on deletion. Copies already delivered to another person's device are outside our control, the same as any message you've already sent.
