Asios Line — SMS Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

This policy applies to Asios Line, a conversational AI assistant delivered over SMS.

  • What we collect: phone number (E.164), SMS message content, timestamps, and opt-in/opt-out status.
  • How we use it: to deliver replies, maintain short-term context, and enforce safety/compliance.
  • Opt-in: You opt in by sending the first text to our number.
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time.
  • Help: Reply HELP (or INFO) for support.
  • Frequency: Message frequency varies (conversational).
  • Carrier rates: Message and data rates may apply.
  • No sale / no marketing sharing: Mobile information (phone numbers, opt-in status, and message contents) is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Retention: 1:1 SMS content is retained for a rolling 90 days; older data is purged.
  • Processors: Twilio (SMS delivery), Groq/OpenAI/Google Gemini (AI response generation), Render/Vercel (hosting).

Group conversations

When Asios is added to a group SMS thread, we do not store messages from that group in our database. Messages are held briefly (up to 1 hour) in server memory so that Asios can understand context when explicitly invoked with @asios, then automatically discarded. We never log group message content. As with all SMS, your carrier and our SMS provider (Twilio) retain message metadata and content for their own operational and compliance windows; see their policies for details.

Asios is silent by default in group threads and only generates a reply when a participant explicitly mentions @asios. When Asios replies in a group, the invocation message and our reply are persisted to our database (so that participants can later request deletion), but the surrounding group conversation is not.
